Subscription Plan Terms

Beta terms for provider subscription plans, V1 trialing access, plan limits, feature gating, restricted subscription states, and upgrade/contact flows.

Version 2026.06.08-betaEffective date 2026-06-08

1. Plan selection, registration, and V1 trial model

Providers may select or be assigned a subscription plan for the FoundBookings web dashboard. In the current V1 launch model, registration creates a trialing subscription record so providers can evaluate the dashboard before a paid subscription billing flow is implemented.

Stripe Billing subscription payment collection is not implemented in the current product unless future approved work changes it. These beta terms should not be read as creating live Stripe Billing charges where that product path is not enabled.

2. Plan limits and feature gating

Plans may limit or enable company setup, locations, staff, managers, services, bookings, analytics, products, gift cards, coupons, loyalty, messaging, QR/add-code access, and other provider features. Some features may require an upgrade, manual approval, or later product release.

A feature is available only if it is implemented, enabled for the provider's plan, and not otherwise restricted by subscription status, legal acceptance, Stripe Connect readiness, or operational safeguards.

3. Subscription status access controls

ACTIVE subscriptions and active TRIALING subscriptions are intended to have full plan access, subject to other product gates and feature limits.

Expired trials, PAST_DUE, CANCELLED, EXPIRED, missing subscription records, or other restricted states may limit provider dashboard access and customer booking or payment eligibility, depending on the implemented access checks.

Restricted providers should still retain access to account/authentication flows, provider legal acceptance where required, subscription/upgrade pages, and complaint/support paths that are needed to resolve the restriction or raise a concern.

4. Upgrade/contact-only behavior and plan changes

Current upgrade flows may be contact-only or manually handled. Providers should not assume automatic Stripe Billing, automatic prorations, automated invoices, or self-serve paid upgrades unless those flows are later implemented and shown in the product.

Plan changes, downgrades, cancellations, or restricted statuses may reduce access to features, staff/location limits, analytics, products, gift cards, coupons, loyalty, or other plan-controlled functions. Data clean-up, retention, export, or feature-loss behavior may be updated before production finalization.

5. Add-ons, fees, taxes, and fair use

Add-ons, overage billing, metered fees, and paid extras are not billed or implemented unless expressly enabled in the product and documented in the applicable plan information.

Providers remain responsible for applicable taxes, business costs, and professional advice connected with their business. FoundBookings does not provide tax, accounting, legal, insurance, or financial advice.

FoundBookings may apply fair-use, abuse-prevention, security, or operational restrictions where needed to protect the platform or prevent misuse.

6. Pricing changes, notices, and no revenue guarantee

Pricing, plan names, plan limits, and feature availability may change with reasonable notice where required by law or final production terms. Future live billing terms will specify notice periods and customer communication requirements before live billing starts.

FoundBookings does not guarantee bookings, customer demand, revenue, profitability, ranking, search visibility, reviews, payment volume, or business outcomes from any plan.
