Ranking Policy

Beta policy explaining the current saved-provider, QR/add-code, and operational ordering model, and confirming that paid ranking is not currently sold.

Version 2026.06.08-betaEffective date 2026-06-08

1. Current discovery model

FoundBookings is currently focused on saved providers, saved locations, saved services, QR/add-code access, and provider-configured customer relationships. It is not currently a broad public marketplace search product.

What a customer sees may depend on whether the customer saved a company, location, or service; whether the customer reached the provider through QR/add-code flows; and whether the relevant provider data is active and visible.

2. Current ordering behaviours

  • Saved companies, saved locations, and saved services may be grouped or ordered by display names and operational grouping.
  • Location detail services are ordered by service name or other basic operational presentation.
  • Published reviews may be shown newest first with deterministic tie-breakers.
  • Availability is presented chronologically or by upcoming operational schedule data.
  • Provider configuration, active services, location status, staff assignments, availability, saved status, moderation restrictions, and displayed reviews may affect what appears.

3. No paid ranking, sponsorship, or promoted placement currently sold

FoundBookings does not currently sell paid ranking, sponsored placement, promoted provider slots, paid search placement, or advertising placement in the mobile app or provider listing model.

Subscription plan access may control provider feature availability, but current subscription status is not sold as paid ranking or sponsored placement.

4. Provider control, moderation, future changes, and reports

Providers control much of their own listing information, including company details, location details, services, staff, prices, policies, products, and contacts. Providers are responsible for keeping that information accurate.

FoundBookings may restrict or remove content for safety, legal, moderation, abuse, or operational reasons. Future ranking changes, marketplace search, recommendations, advertising, sponsored placement, or materially different ranking factors should be disclosed before material use.

Inaccurate or confusing ranking, listing, review, or ordering concerns can be reported through support, complaint, or reporting channels.
